Exchange & Reporting server

i recently read an article on how you could do reports on your exchange
environment with the SQL 2000 report pack for Exchange.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=108C2B01-2CC9-4A84-A669-EB22533FA5E2&displaylang=en
I have installed this on my SQL box and am unable to access the 13
predefined reports. Could someone assist me and let me know if there are
any special things that need to be done. ThanksNothing specific. The Report Pack should have installed a sample database.
If for some reason this didn't work, you can just attach the database
manuall.

Do you have to have sql and exchange on the same box?
I uninstalled and then reinstalled and now i am getting this error
"Object reference not set to instance of an object"
Any clue to what is the problem?

I get the same error, both while installing on Reporting server and on
Exchange server. Using Ex2003 w/ SP1, and reporting server SP1.
Thanks.|||Some people are hitting some but in setup but we have not been able to repro
it here. You might want to take a look at the log file. You don't need
Exchange on the box at all.

not have Visual Studio .Net installed. And I don't want to install VS on my
report server because it is also my intranet server.

know if you can really do any "real reporting" with this product though. I
think you can just use the sample database.

party product for that. The IIS log report pack does the extract, though.
